JournalofTeachingEnglishLanguage(TEL),formerlyknownasTELL,publishedbyTeachingEnglishLanguageandLiteratureSocietyofIran(TELLSI),isa doubleblind, peerreviewed,and openaccess (allcontentisfreelyavailablewithoutchargetotheusers)internationaljournalofappliedlinguistics.ThejournalwaslaunchedinJune2007. TEL,publishedbiannuallyinbothprintandelectronicformats,providesaforumdevotedtothestudyofallissuesofteachingandlearningEnglishasaforeign/secondlanguage. TEL publishesempiricalarticlesofcomparativeormethodologicalinteresttoscholarsandstudentsinappliedlinguisticsandrelateddisciplinesincluding,butnotconfinedto,teachingandlearninglanguageskillsandcomponents,psycholinguistics,sociolinguistics,discourseandpragmatics,EAP/ESP,assessmentandevaluation,psychologyoflanguageeducation,CALL/MALL/RALL,etc.Itencouragesapproachestothestudyoflanguagewithmethodologicalinnovations. TELaimstoboostinterdisciplinarycooperationamongresearchersinterestedinlanguage,education,andworkbypublishinghighqualityworkswhichspeaktoawideaudience. TEL invitesallIranianandforeignlinguists,appliedlinguists,andteachingpractitionerstocontributetothejournalbysubmittingpaperson AppliedLinguistics.
