Dynamicpanelscancontainoneormorestates.Double-clickingadynamicpanelinawireframewillopentheDynamicPanelStateManagerdialog.Inthisdialog,newstatescanbecreated,renamed,reordered,removed,andedited.Thefirststateinthepanelisthedefaultstateofthepanel. SelectingapanelstateintheDynamicPanelStateManagerandclickingEditState,opensanewwireframeforeditingthepanelstate. DynamicpanelscanalsobeeditedandmanagedintheDynamicPanelManagerpane. DynamicPanelManagerTheDynamicPanelManagercanbeshownusingView->DynamicPanelManager.Itwillbeaddedtothebottomoftheright-handside.Dynamicpanelscancontainoneormorestates.Statescanbeadded,removed,andopenedforeditinginthemanager.Toaddorremovestates,right-clickonthedynamicpanelnameoradynamicpanelstateandusethecontextmenu.Thefirststateinthepanelisthedefaultstateofthepanel. Double-clickingastateintheDynamicPanelManager opensanewwireframeforeditingthepanelstate.Toopenallthestatesofadynamicpanel,right-clickonthedynamicpanelnameandselectEditAllStates. Dynamicpanelsonthepagecanbehiddenfromviewinthewireframeeditorforeasieraccesstowidgetsbeneaththem.Tohideadynamicpanel,clickonthebluesquaretotherightofthedynamicpanelname,ortohideallthepanelsonapage,right-clickonthepagenameandselectHideAll. HidingDynamicPanelsDynamicpanelscanalsobesettobehidden.Thisisdifferentthanhidingthedynamicpanelfromviewintheeditorusingthedynamicpanelmanager.Right-clickingandselectingEditDynamicPanel->SetHiddenwillsetthedynamicpaneltobehiddenbydefault.Thiswillhidethepanelcontentsandchangethemaskfordynamicpanelsfrombluetoyellow.Thedynamicpanelscanbedynamicallyshownintheprototypeusinginteractionsasdescribedbelow. InteractionsandDynamicPanelsAfterdesigningoneormorepanelstates,Interactionscanbecreatedtointeractwiththepanelanditsstates.TheInteractionCasePropertiesdialogcontainsthefollowingsetofactionsthatworkwithpanels: SetPanelstate(s)toState(s) ShowPanel(s) HidePanel(s) ToggleVisibilityforPanel(s) MovePanel(s) BringPanel(s)toFront Afterselectingoneoftheseactions,thepaneltointeractwithandthestatetosetthepanelto(ifneeded)canbespecifiedbyusingthehyperlinksintheActionsdescriptionsandthedialogsthatfollow.Inthesedialogs,thedynamicpanelsareidentifiedbytheLabelofthepanel.IfnoLabelhasbeenentered,thepanelwillbe‘Unlabeled”.Anexampleofhowadynamicpanelcouldbeusedistocreateatabcontrol.Consideratabcontrolwith3tabs.Adynamicpanelcouldbecreatedwith3states,eachrepresentingthecontentsofoneofthetabs.Then,3buttonscouldbeplacedaroundthedynamicpanel,eachhavinganinteractionthatwouldsetthestateofthepaneltotheappropriatestatewhenclicked.
