2012年因應系所整併改名為運動休閒與餐旅管理研究所後，更在研討會加入餐旅管理領域之議題，拓展學術與實務之專業範疇。

本所辦理國際研討會之目的在於建立產、官、學界之國際交流平臺，20年來曾邀請來自美洲、歐洲、大洋洲、亞洲的專家、學者、政府官員、產業代表與優秀之青年學子共同參與，藉由國際研討會之平臺，促進運動休閒與餐旅管理領域之交流機會，共同激盪出研究與實務之創意、思考與趨勢，並且建立良好關係。

經過21年來的辛勤努力，已逐漸獲得國內外運動休閒與餐旅管理相關領域的認可與支持。

每屆研討會我們都戰戰兢兢，希望每年都有所突破並建立創新主題。

藉由每年具有前瞻性主題訂定，邀請國際專家級學者進行專題演講與討論，同時廣徵國內及有潛力之學者進行論文發表之學術交流。

全程參加2022年5月14日、15日研討會之學員，於大會結束一個月內寄發電子研習證明。
