AfteracceptingthelicenseagreementandtheDiagnosticandUsedData,selectifyouwantthatWindowsAutomaticupdatescheckupdatesforSCVMMandautomaticallyinstalls,orleavedisableandruntheupdatemanuallyinyourWindowsUpdate. SincebothserversbelongtothesameDomain,weareusingthedomainadministratortoconnecttotheremoteSQLServer.IfyourSQLServerhasanexclusiveSQLaccount,oryouneeddifferentuser,addyourdomain\userandpasswordinthecredentialsfields. Next,iswhereweaddourdomainserviceaccount(ifitexistsinyourenvironment),oruseadomainadministratoraccount. Therecommendationisthatweshoulduseadomainservice(notonlyforthisproductbutforallinyourdomain).However,sincethisisjustatestcase,wewillusetheadministratordomainaccount. Note:Ifyouneedamoresecureenvironment,thenuseDistributedKeyManagementtostoreencryptedkeysinActiveDirectoryinsteadonthelocalmachinethatisusingSCVMM. CheckherehowtoconfigureaDistributedKeyManagementforVMM2019. NextistheportsthatSCVMM2019willuse.Unlessyourenvironmentneedstousedifferentports,orifsomeofthedefaultportsareinuse,youshouldnotchangethedefaultsettings. NextistocreatetheVMMLibrary.Bydefault,SCVMMwillcreateanewLibrarylocally,butifyouwanttohaveasharedLibrary,thenyoushouldchangetheShareLocation. DefaultfitsinmostoftheSCVMMinstallations.
