Setupin2016,thenationalnetworkofteachersreadinggroupsaimstoinspirereadingforpleasurebecauseresearchshowsthatchildrenwhoreadforpleasureexperiencehighlevelsofwell-being,engageinlearningandaresuccessfulinlife. TheStoryMuseumwillbehostingaprimaryRTRPprogrammewhichisopentoallKeyStage2teachers.AstheselectednovelsaremostappropriateforYear5/6pupils,priorityisgiventoteachersoftheseyeargroups.Toincludeasmanyschoolsaspossible,placesarelimitedtotwoteachersperschool. AllsessionswillbeledbymembersofourexpertteachingteamatTheStoryMuseum.ThegroupisFREEtoattend,andthesharedresourcesaredistributedthroughouttheyearalongwithtwocopiesofeachofthe5titles.
