CandidatesarerequiredtoattendeveryTuesdayandThursdaynightfrom18:00until20:00.Thesetwoeveningswillconsistofinputsessions,assignmentsandlessonplanningsupport.CandidatesalsoneedtobeavailableandattendeverySaturdayfrom9:00until15:30whenthefocusisonteachingpractice,consultationandfeedback.ThiscourseisdesignedforthosewhoareseekinganinternationallyaccreditedqualificationinteachingEnglishasaforeignlanguage(TEFL).Candidatesareassessedontheirteachingpractice,lessonplansandwrittenassignments.Applicantscanrealisticallyexpecttoputin180additionallearninghoursforpre-coursepreparation,reading,research,assignmentwriting,lessonpreparationandrecordkeepingasthesetaskshappenoutsideofcoursehours.Pleasebeawarethatthecourseisdemanding.
