Many college courses require you to memorize mass amounts of information. ... memory tricks enable them to remember large chunks of information quickly. Competitivememorizersclaimthatpracticingvisualizationtechniquesandusingmemorytricksenablethemtorememberlargechunksofinformationquickly.Researchshowsthatstudentswhousememorytricksperformbetterthanthosewhodonot.Memorytrickshelpyouexpandyourworkingmemoryandaccesslongtermmemory.Thesetechniquescanalsoenableyoutoremembersomeconceptsforyearsorevenforlife.Finally,memorytricksliketheseleadtounderstandingandhigherorderthinking.Keepreadingforanintroductiontoeffectivememorizationtechniquesthatwillhelpyouinschool.
