Calendars CreateandeditfinancialclosingcalendarsusingtheCalendarstab.Thisiswhereyouwilldefinetheworkingdaysforclosingprocesses,andwillbeusedforschedulingclosingtasks.Createanewcalendar,andindicatetheworkingdaystobeusedfortaskscheduling.Itisbesttocreateacalendarforlongperiodoftime,suchasayearormultipleyears,sinceitcanbeeditedaftercreation.Aftercreatingthecalendar,clicktheEditbuttontoupdatethecalendarforspecificdays,suchasholidays.ClosingtaskswillbescheduledondayswhentheControlvalueissettoOpen.Ifclosingtasksshouldnotbescheduleonaspecificday,thatdayshouldhavetheControlvaluesettoClosed. Assignthecalendarappropriatefortheclosingschedule,toindicatetheworkingdaystobeusedintaskscheduling.Ifyoudon'tdefineaspecificcalendar,thetaskduedateswillusealldaysoftheweek. Youmustalsodefinethecompaniesthatwillbeassociatedwiththeclosingschedule.Iftemplatetasksareassignedtomultiplecompanies,separatetaskswillbecreatedforeachcompanythatisintheclosingscheduleandassignedtothetemplatetask. Afteraclosingscheduleiscompleted,selecttheClosedoptionforit.ThetaskhistorywillstillbeavailablefromtheAllfinancialperiodclosetaskslistpage,buttheclosingschedulewillberemovedfromtheworkspace.AfteraclosingschedulehasbeenmarkedasClosed,youwon'tbeabletoaddtaskstoit,edittasks,orremovetasksfromit.
